Beer is one of the oldest beverages in the world and history of beer dates back to 6 millennium BC.
People who lived in Mesopotamia and Egypt are the first beer consumed.
Also, there are sources who have testified about the “cult” of beer. Specifically, Sumerian have prayed to God of beer called Ninkasi. Ninkasi had the hymn that is literally called “The Hymn to Ninkasi.”
It is accepted that the history of beer began with random discoveries. People left the food and the food “began” a beer. After the discoveries of beer people started to drink more and more beer, because they have know that the beer is nutrient and intoxicant.

The white wrapped ones look a little like Stella Artois, but if it was you’d see the 2 bands running around the bottom of the wrap and the logo and dip in the wrap (unless they’re all face down) also the shape of, what you can see of, the bottles and the fact that the red ones appear to have a cork makes me think it’s wine as well.
And Matt, if you can’t name at least a couple of beers with a wrap over the cap you can’t call yourself a man.

There is a huge world of beer out there, hundreds of thousands of brands/breweries, hundreds of styles, some with wrapped caps, some with corks, some with packaging that’ll blow your mind. Check out ratebeer.com or beeradvocate.com, find a local craft brew shop, talk to some beer geeks, and have your own personal beer tasting…you’d be surprised at the variety of styles that exist that most have never even heard of, let alone imbibed.

This is definitely a wine cellar and not a beer cellar. People keep their beer in the fridge where it stays cold.
I second Dijkie, this is most certainly a wine cellar – in fact it is a picture which I have seen posted in an article about space saving designs for the kitchen.

That has to be a Wine Cellar, not Beer.
For one big reason. A cellar is a terrible place to store beer, and no one in their right mind should ever stock that much. Beer won’t keep the way that wine does. Even the cheap mass produced swill like Budweiser needs to be consumed within a maximum of 2 years and that’s when it’s chock full of artificial preservatives. A more natural beer (like anything a proper beer snob would drink) rarely has a shelf life longer than a year. Some really hoppy beers can last a bit longer, maybe a year and a half but that’s really it.
On the off chance I were to create a beer cellar it would be a place that gets no natural light, since sunlight can break down the hops. That’s why beer (usually) comes in dark bottles. It certainly wouldn’t be a glass door in the middle of my well lit kitchen.

Ummm… everyone saying that this is a wine cellar, please do your research. If you store crap beer (Budweiser) it will go bad after not that long. Other beers, however, are meant to be aged for years. I just recently bought a bottle at my local craft brew shop that advised me not to drink it for AT LEAST a year after purchase, and said it would be good for up to 25 years. Also, you do want to store quality beers at cellar temperature, refrigeration kills the flavor of GOOD beer, I know Budweiser is not drinkable unless it is ice cold and you can’t taste it, but you would NOT want to refrigerate a bottle of, say, Dark Lord. Hope that clears things up a bit.

This is a wine cellar. But I wouldn’t put my wine in it. The skylight lets in light, thereby defeating the purpose of cellaring a wine. Even the lighting in the cellar is wrong. It should be red, not white. It’s definitely not beer. Mike Might be Wrong said Stella Artois was in the white labels. Wrong. First, no one that knows anything about beer would cellar a stella except for maybe shits and giggles. And anyone that would go through all that trouble to make a beer cellar, then lay beers on their side would be an idiot. You’re asking for oxidation and possible off flavors from the cap.
